The York climbing frame has a beautiful wooden roof constructed with cedar wood. It covers the spacious play deck that has a chalk wall for doodling. The fort is reached by a rock wall climbing ladder and a quick exit via the straight slide. For those seeking to save space; a monkey bar swing beam is a must have. It doubles up as both monkey bars and a swingset containing a belt swing and a trapeze bar.
The York climbing frame is constructed from cedar wood and this means that its less likely to split and crack than other untreated lumber, it is also soft to the touch and perfect for little hands. Being rot and infestation resistant is a bonus quality giving it a 10 year warranty on the climbing frame's wooden parts.
Fort Features
The York climbing frame's upper deck measures approximately 1.19m by 0.9m in area, being 4ft or 1.2 metres from ground level. The frame's upper fort features a large chalkwall enabling your children to scribble down notes, draw pictures or use for any other purpose. The lower deck of the fort has been enclosed with the wrap around porch. There is a small rain apron that is fitted just above the lower windows to keep sun or rain out when your children are playing inside.Swing Features
The York climbing frame has a belt swing and a trapeze bar. The belt swing is manufactured from a durable and flexible plastic that provides a tight and secure fit. When your child sits on the seat it will wrap around and grip around their hip area unlike more conventional solid swings. The trapeze bar is perfect for all young budding acrobats who enjoy swinging through the air or performing acrobatic manoeuvres.Slide Features
The York climbing frame features a 220cm straight slide. The slide can be accessed via the climbing frame's upper deck of the fort and exits from the front of the climbing frame. The climbing frame's slide is manufactured from a durable, UV protected HPDE material to ensure strength and safety. The York Climbing Frame upper deck can be accessed by the combination rockwall climbing ladder located around the back of the frame. Ideal for children of all abilities, novice climbers can use the usual ladder steps, whilst more advanced climbers can utilise the frames moulded rock wall climbing ladder mounts to make their journey to the upper fort level. Additional climbing frame challenges can be obtained by using the monkey ladder swing, which makes up the swing beam to the left of the frame.Play Features
The York climbing frame features a fantastic wrap around lower playhouse and café counter to the right of the lower fort, where you children will be able to sit and take five, rest and recuperate before climbing again, or it makes a great place to play games like shop. The York climbing frame comes pre-cut, pre-drilled and pre-stained which helps make home-build as easy. We also supply an illustrated owner’s manual showing you exactly how to build the climbing frame. All you’ll need is basic DIY tools. UK Home Delivery
We offer 3 delivery services to most of mainland UK.
- Basic 7-14 Day (One-Man Kerbside) Delivery
- Premium 4-7 Day (Two-Man) Delivery
- Express 3 Day (One-Man Kerbside) Delivery
A basic one-manpremium two-man delivery options across the majority of mainland UK. The one-man delivery is a kerbside delivery service, so someone will need to be there to accept and sign for the delivery. With our two-man service the drivers will place the item in a location of your choice (garage, shed, back garden). The item can be left if you notify us and leave a signed note. We will contact you within 48hrs to book a delivery day. UK mainland deliveries take 5-12 days.
European Delivery
We regularly deliver our climbing frames and play equipment throughout Europe. European deliveries are made using a pallet service to your home address, or you can collect from a local pick-up-point (both depending on location). Following a completed order your item will be dispatched from our central warehouse to your local depot who will contact you directly to book a collection slot or delivery day/time. European deliveries take 14-28 days.

International Delivery
We are happy for international customers to purchase from us. We have a huge range and our pricing is often more competitive than local independent suppliers, even when you calculate the freight costs. For international orders we request you choose to pay by bank transfer during checkout. Then you can arrange for your carrier to collect from our distribution warehouse. We do not offer collections for payments made by credit/debit card.
Returns
We're happy for you to return items to us if they do not match your expectations. Whilst items are in your care we request that you take good care of them. Please don't insert t-nuts, or drill screws if you wish to make a return as this permanently damages the wood, meaning it cannot be resold as new. The cost of return is the responsibility of the customer, or we can arrange for our courier to collect if requested, but this cost will be deducted from any refund.
